Tea Tree oil has more benefits than I can count. It is anti-almost anything that doesn't sound good for your body, i.e. fungal, microbial, septic, and inflammatory. I highly recommend this essential oil as a must for any natural beauty and health care fanatic. From soothing dry skin to cleaning minor cuts and burns, tea tree oil has you covered.

Okay so let's get this disclaimer out of the way so when can get to the good stuff. DO NOT swallow tea tree oil, it is toxic if ingested. Do not use tea tree oil, even with a carrier oil, if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing childbirth. Always try a small drop on the region of skin you plan on treating. Avoid using if you develop or have an allergy. Discontinue use if you start to experience inflammation or redness to affected area. As with all essential oils, tea tree oil should be mixed and diluted with other ingredients such as water, carrier oils, and personal care products. Need to know which carrier oil to use, there are a few that work perfectly along with tea tree oil...

For your hair care needs, your favorite shampoo is the best way to see the benefits of tea tree oil for you scalp. Add 2-3 drops to your shampoo and wash as usual. Coconut oil and olive oil are great carries oil to use with tea tree oil for a hot oil treatment.

Tea tree oil does not unfortunate treat lice by itself. Lavender oil is a good partner. Being preventative by using tea tree oil is your best bet with the fight against lice by just adding 2-3 drops to your shampoo when you hear or know of an outbreak. If you are affected by those little buggers, no worries, tea tree oil still has your back. Mix a few drops with coconut oil and let it sit on your hair 3-4 hours, under a cap, then comb out the lice with a lice comb and pick out the nits. Use a cleansing shampoo and repeat as necessary.

With the right carrier, your skin and tea tree oil are a match made in heaven. For your face and the treatment of acne, add a couple of drops of tea tree oil to honey, yes honey (trust me its good), and apply it to your face. Leave on for 1-2 minutes and rinse off with warm water. If you need relief for skin irritations like psoriasis, eczema, or skin inflammations, from bug bites, mix 1 part tea tree oil to 2 parts coconut oil. Apply to affected 2-3 times a day, as needed.

Looking to keep those little one's hands clean the natural way, I suggest mixing tea tree oil, witch hazel extract and a moisturizing oil, like coconut oil or vitamin E or both. I would also add a scented essential oil, like lavender or peppermint, to help curve the smell of the tea tree oil. Here is a recipe for an awesome all-natural hand sanitizer.

When it comes to outside parasites imposing inconvenience on you and your skin, tea tree oil has you covered, again. To deal with ringworm, I like to dilute the tea tree oil with warm warm. Use a cotton swap or cotton ball and apply to affected area. Let stand for 5-15 minutes, rinse off and pat dry. Repeat 2-3 times a day. And of course the dreadful tick, not the TV show on amazon (I think its hilarious, vulgar, but hilarious), just add a few drops to a cotton ball and apply it to the tick. Tape the cotton ball to tick and leave there for 30 minutes and then pull the tick off with a pair of tweezers. Bye, bye Tick.

Looking for a natural way to fight off a yeast infection. I suggest take as many apple cider vinegar soaks, in warm water for 20 minutes, as you can. Then mix coconut oil with 2-3 drops of tea tree oil and soak a tampon in the mixture. Insert tampon for about 20 minutes. Repeat as often as necessary for 3-5 days.

For toenail fungus, apply 100% tea tree oil to the infected toe, 2 times a day for 6 months. If you prefer something a little milder, mix 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 to 2 drops of tea tree oil and apply to your toe using a cotton ball. Bandage the cotton ball to your toe and leave it on overnight. And for stubborn fungi, consider mix equal parts tea tree oil and oil or oregano. And for athlete's foot, add 2-3 drops to olive oil and rub on to feet.

Tea tree oil is great for killing orders. You can make homemade deodorant by mixing tea tree oil with coconut oil and baking soda. To make your own chemical-free mouthwash, add a drop of tea tree oil to a cup of warm water, mix and swish in your mouth for 30 seconds. Again, tea tree oil should not be swallowed. It is toxic if ingested.

Lavender essential oil and/or coconut oil are the perfect ingredients in a homemade wound ointment. Make sure to clean a cut first with soap and water then apply the tea tree oil mixture and cover with a bandage to help fight off infections.

Tea Tree oil has brought my family and myself much relief in all of our skin aliment needs. It is an essential tool in my family's search for all-natural health care solutions.
